The INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute (IHCI) offers one of the foremost collections of physicians along with state-of-the-art comprehensive therapies for the diagnosis, treatment and survivorship of cancer patients. IHCI is more than just a cancer treatment facility – it’s a cancer treatment philosophy, focused on treating the whole person, not just the disease.
Gifts to the INTEGRIS Health Foundation’s oncology fund support important projects like our mindfulness and meditation program. Programs like this help patients learn to find peace, balance and relaxation, allowing more opportunities to fully recover after treatment. Other projects include the healing garden, hats and wigs for patients undergoing chemotherapy, and Canserve - a project that gives new chemotherapy patients frozen meals to take home after their first treatment.

Wade had just turned 50 when a routine colonoscopy revealed cancer. He was able to get the very best surgical and chemotherapy treatments mere miles from home, but what this story is really about is the profound connection between Wade and his nurse at the INTEGRIS Cancer Institute – one so life-changing that it brings Wade back as a volunteer to this day.
