Meet Sheila, an RN Research Coordinator whose journey is not only a testament to resilience but also a beacon of hope for those navigating through difficult times. As a caregiver in a different role at INTEGRIS Health, she experienced the devastating loss of her father. The grief was immense, and navigating through it seemed insurmountable. However, Sheila found a glimmer of light in the form of her colleagues – fellow caregivers who offered unwavering support and compassion. Their encouragement was the catalyst for Sheila's transformation. Inspired by their kindness and motivated by her desire to make a difference, she made the courageous decision to pursue nursing school. Despite the challenges she faced, Sheila embarked on a journey of healing and self-discovery.

Now, as an RN Research Coordinator at INTEGRIS Health, Sheila channels her passion for supporting transplant and nursing care through YOU&I, our employee-led annual giving campaign. She understands firsthand the impact of compassionate care and the importance of giving back to projects that inspired her journey.
